Love-You-Bangaram Release date : 24 January 2014
123telugu.com Rating : 1.5/5
Director : Govi
Producer : Maruthi – Vallabh
Music Director : Mahith Narayan
Starring : Rahul, Sravya…

Happy Days fame Rahul and Sravya have teamed up for the romantic film ‘Love You Bangaram’. The movie has been directed by Govi and Mahith Narayan has scored the music. K.S.Rama Rao and Maruthi have jointly produced this movie. ‘Love You Bangaram’ has released today across the state, so let us see how the film is.

Story :

Akash (Rahul) is a kind hearted guy who works as an assistant manager at Celkon Mobiles. He is a dutiful son and helps people in need. He accidentally comes across Meenakshi (Sravya) and falls in love with her. As it so happens, Akash’s father and Meenakshi’s father are political rivals and they bitterly oppose this relationship.

Akash and Meenakshi decide to live life on their own terms and decide to get married. They shift to Hyderabad after Akash gets promoted as a Manager. Life seems lovely for a while and the newly married couple have fun.

After a year goes by, Meenakshi starts getting bored and decides to join a software company. Insecurity and suspicion rear their ugly heads and Akash begins doubting his wife. Meenakshi’s suspicious behaviour doesn’t help matters either. But there is a strong motive behind Meenakshi’s behaviour. What is that motive? Will Akash and Meenakshi’s marriage survive?

That forms the story of ‘Love You Bangaram’

Plus Points :

Actress Sravya looks decent in sarees. The last 20 minutes of the film has some novelty value and the director has managed to create a little interest among viewers with these sequences. There is one guy named FB and he has managed to bring about a few laughs with his ‘Grow Up’ comedy scenes.

Minus Points :

‘Love You Bangaram’ has to be one of the lamest and dumbest films to have released in recent times. A prestigious banner like Creative Commercials should think twice before putting its name on a movie like this. This film is not even B grade, it is beyond that.

Adult jokes and scenes work only if they are handled in the right way. Otherwise, things become ugly, obscene and unbearable. This is precisely what happened with ‘Love You Bangaram’. Poor acting, bad screenplay, terrible writing and atrocious execution are the hallmarks of this movie.

Rahul needs to improve his dialogue delivery drastically, if he has any ambitions of succeeding as an actor. His voice modulation and dialogue delivery are big minus points for the film.

There are way too many songs in the movie. In fact, it is almost as if some talkie scenes were added in a music video album. The sad part is, none of the songs make a positive impression on viewers. The vulgarity level in this film is simply mind numbing.

Technical Aspects :

Cinematography is very mediocre, even by small budget film standards. Editing is bad. Mahith Narayan’s music is not too impressive and his background score does not help the movie in any way.

Govi’s direction is atrocious. He must realise that perverted adult jokes and skin show will not bring commercial success when there is no story to back things up.

Verdict :

‘Love You Bangaram’ is a film that is guaranteed to bring on a headache. It is a very poorly executed film, with C grade technical standards and abysmal performances. Stay away from this film, unless you want to study bad filmmaking out of academic interest.
