It is a known fact that gone are the days when hit films used to run for hundred days. Today, the game has changed big time and it is only the case of hit and run. However big hit the film is, its lifetime is only for a week or two. Once the movie heads into its second week, the craze fizzles out and the audience look forward to watch yet another film.
This short span of the movie’s run is affecting the producers big time. They are running into heavy losses and are using fake practices and quoting unreal collections to attract the audience. Have you ever wondered why all this is happening. We decided to find out the reason and spoke to some of the leading producers in the industry.
Everybody had only one opinion and blamed it on the long working days for shooting the film. They remembered the days when a top hero’s film was shot in under 70 days, and how the budget was packaged perfectly. But in today’s time and age, a big budget flick is shot for nearly 160 days which only increases the production cost and remuneration of the actors involved.
Therefore, it is very clear that film makers need to be smart enough in making movies, and plan their production much in advance. If this criteria is followed, the producers will be in safe hands and would have the guts to make some interesting films in the future.
