Taking a cue from Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who appealed to his fans not to abuse his friends Aamir and Shah Rukh, Tamil superstar Suriya requested his fans not to resort to fan wars with other stars’ fans. Earlier today, Suriya took to his Twitter page and tweeted, “Just don’t want fans n well wishers to fight with other fans..! Spend more time on yourself, family n make them proud! hv a great day!!”
Recently, Masss, the Tamil version of Suriya’s Rakshasudu, kicked off an online fan war between the diehard fans of Suriya, Ajith and Vijay. The reason was that certain dialogues in the film were taken from Ajith and Vijay’s films and were used in Masss. This did not go down well with Ajith-Vijay fans, who relentlessly waged a tweet war for more than 3 days.
While it is heartening to see a superstar like Suriya coming out of his silence and requesting his fans not to spread animosity amongst other stars’ fans, it would be nice if other top stars too follow suit to maintain peace and friendship among the warring fans
Just don’t want fans n well wishers to fight with other fans..! Spend more time on yourself, family n make them proud! ? hv a great day!!
