The ongoing protests in Thutthukodi, Tamil Nadu have become a huge topic of discussion all over the country. While several film actors and politicians came forward to criticised the police brutality and violence, which led to the death of 13 people, several others in Tamil film industry have extended their support in various other ways.
The latest to join this list is Shibu Thameens, the producer of Saamy², starring Vikram and Keerthy Suresh. The film’s trailer was supposed to be launched today and there were huge expectations from it after the phenomenal response for the motion poster.
However, the producer stated that the trailer will be revealed at a later point of time. “It’s not the time for celebration,so with all your permission ( #Saamy Lovers and #Chiyaan fans ) we are postponing our trailer launch. I will update. Let’s pray for the people who lost their lives, more over pray this kind of situation should not continue and never happen..#saamy2,” Shibu posted on Twitter.
