A fake Twitter handle of Tamil Rockers, the notorious piracy site which has been giving sleepless nights to Kollywood and and other Indian film industries for the last few years, created havoc in Kollywood this afternoon. A tweet was posted, threatening to leak Shankar-Rajinikanth’s highly-anticipated sci-fi thriller, 2.0, on the very first day of its release.
Movie lovers and several people part of Kollywood were on tenterhooks ever since the tweet went viral. But much to everyone’s relief, Tamil Rockers admins announced on their website that they don’t have Twitter or any other social networking accounts and asked everyone not to believe in fake accounts.
Although Tamil Rockers’ clarification gave a huge sigh of relief, fans are still apprehensive about 2.0 being leaked on this shady website on its release day itself.
