Mahi V Raghav, who is directing YSR’s biopic ‘Yatra’, is all praise for Malayalam Superstar Mammootty. The latter played the role of former chief minister, YS Rajasekhar Reddy in this film which focuses on how his life changed during the course of a padayatra.
In a recent interview, Mahi V Raghav said, “Mammootty isn’t just an actor but a legend who looks so simple. He understood the meaning of each and every word in Telugu and dubbed for his part. There were times he had to re-dub for perfection. I guess his approach to work makes him a legend. I cannot imagine any other actor other than Mammootty in the role of Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy.”
The film’s shooting has been wrapped up, and the makers are planning to release the film on December 21.
