We had earlier reported that a set worth almost Rs 2 crore was burned down after it caught fire in the early hours of Friday. And even as everyone was wondering what the cause was and if everyone was safe, actor Ram Charan gave a statement on his Facebook page.
“Unfortunately, a fire broke out on our ‘Sye Raa’ set in Kokapet earlier this morning. Thankfully, everyone in the team is safe and no one is hurt.
We are really looking forward for our last schedule to finish!! (sic),” wrote the actor in his post.
Directed by Surender Reddy, the film has music by Amit Trivedi.
