A few months ago, there were several speculations that director Teja will be directing a biopic on late hero Uday Kiran’s life. However, Teja had trashed those rumors. In a latest interview, Teja was again asked about the possibility of making a film on the actor he had introduced with Chitram in 2000.
But Teja has once again ruled out any chance of turning Uday Kiran’s life into a biopic. “I have seen Uday’s ups and downs. He had shared all the incidents that happened in his life with me. He left this world in a painful way and I don’t want to make money on his sorrows,” said Teja.
After Chitram, Teja’s 2001 film, Nuvvu Nenu, made Uday a heart-throb among his fans. Teja and Uday Kiran’s last film together was the 2005 film, Avunanna Kaadanna.
