Senior hero Victory Venkatesh has lined up several interesting projects, which will hit screens this year and in 2020. While Venky Mama will be released later this year, he also has a couple of projects with Trinadha Rao Nakkina and Tharun Bhascker.
Until recently, Venky was in talks to star in the Telugu remake of the superhit Bollywood romantic comedy, De De Pyar De. The film’s story is all about a middle-aged man falling for the charms of a young girl while being a married man himself. Venky’s brother Suresh Babu had bought the remake rights.
However, if the latest reports are anything to go by, Venky is having second thoughts about acting in De De Pyar De’s remake. Apparently, Venky is wary of the disappointing box-office result of Nagarjuna’s Manmadhudu 2, which also has a similar storyline of a middle-aged man falling in love with a young girl. Well, let’s wait to hear it from the Daggubatis.
