Hero Ram Charan took the responsibility of producing Sye Raa Narasimhareddy, the most ambitious film in his father Megastar Chiranjeevi’s illustrious career. Charan was determined to make Sye Raa a landmark project for his doting father and needless to say, all eyes are on the film’s release.
However, Mega fans are slightly upset with Ram Charan not acting in Sye Raa. In a latest interview, Chiru finally revealed the reason why Charan missed acting in the movie. Chiru revealed that there’s a character named Sher Khan which appears just before the interval scene. Chiru said that Sher Khan and Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy clash in the scene and Sher Khan sacrifices his life, urging Narasimhareddy to fight the British and attain freedom.
“Charan actually wanted to cast either Salman Khan or Sanjay Dutt for Sher Khan’s role. Our team later felt that it would be nice if Charan played the role. But during the discussions, we felt that fans may not be able to accept Charan’s character dying, and that too after a confrontation with my character. That’s why we decided against Charan acting in the movie. Also, we eventually omitted Sher Khan’s character due to duration issues,” Chiru said.
