Star heroine Anushka’s highly-anticipated horror thriller, Nishabdham, is slated to open in cinemas on the 31st of January. Senior writer Kona Venkat is producing the movie along with TG Vishwaprasad.
Interestingly, Anushka was not the first choice to play the female lead role Sakshi in the movie. Kona Venkat revealed this titbit at a latest promotional event. Venkat revealed that he had narrated Nishabdham’s script to Anushka on a flight from Mumbai to Hyderabad. “Anushka took a few days time and finally agreed to do the film,” Venkat said.
In Nishabdham, Anushka plays a hearing and speech impaired artist. Expectations are quite high on the film, as it’s coming after Anushka’s last year’s blockbuster, Bhaagamathie.
