Balakrishna’s Ruler has hit theaters today and received a mixed response from audiences. On the other hand, Balayya has been promoting the film quite actively. In a latest interview, Balayya acknowledged his Simha and Legend director Boyapati Srinu’s gesture for Ruler.
Not many are aware that Ruler was the title originally registered by Boyapati Srinu for his film with Balayya around a year ago. However, that project never went on floors. And when Ruler’s producer C Kalyan had requested Boyapati Srinu to give them the title, the director didn’t think twice and gave away the full rights. “Thank you, Boyapati,” Balayya said.
Incidentally, Balayya and Boyapati Srinu will soon be teaming up for the third time. The project had its formal launch recently and the regular shoot will commence sometime early next year.
