After skipping July 30, 2020, RRR, the most awaited period magnum opus, has sealed January 8, 2021 for its theatrical release. But with the shoot coming to a sudden halt due to the ongoing lockdown amid the Coronavirus pandemic, doubts about this Rajamouli directorial making it to the silver screens during the Sankranthi festive season early next year began to rise.
However, RRR’s producer DVV Danayya has clarified that the film will not miss the January 8 deadline. “We are very confident that we will release the film on January 8 as announced,” Danayya said in a latest interaction with a popular English daily. “Most of the graphics work is done and there is no reason to delay the film’s release,” he further added.
