The central government has still not given any clarification regarding the reopening of the single screens and multiplexes. Left with no option, more and more producers skipping theatrical release and instead opting for a direct OTT release.
The makers of Sai Dharam Tej and Nabha Natesh’s upcoming romantic entertainer, Solo Brathuke So Better, have not come up with an official announcement regarding the film’s release plans. Meanwhile, a strong buzz that’s doing the rounds in film circles reveals that SBSB will be directly hitting an OTT platform later this year.
Furthermore, SBSB is being rumored to be the first Tollywood film to release on pay-per-view basis. Apparently, BVSN Prasad, the senior producer who’s bankrolling SBSB, is already in talks with a leading OTT platform, and plans are on to release the film as a Dasara festive treat. Well, let’s wait for an official confirmation regarding the same.
