By now, everyone knows that star heroine Anushka’s 2018 film, Bhagamathie is being remade in Hindi. Titled Durgamati, the film is going to skip its theatrical release and go for a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime on December 11, 2020.
On this occasion, this afternoon, Anushka tweeted ” Wishing dearest Bhumi Pednekar ,Ashok Garu ,entire cast and crew of #DURGAMATI all the very very very best … looking forward😊🤗🤗 @bhumipednekar @ashokdirector2 @PrimeVideoIN #DurgamatiOnPrime”. She also shared a new poster of Durgamati where Bhumi Pednekar was seen in a ferocious avatar.
Ashok, who directed the Telugu version helmed the Hindi version also. T-Series banner in association with Akshay Kumar’s Cape Of Good Films and Vaicom18 bankrolled the movie.
