Check, an intense and thrilling courtroom drama featuring Nithiin, Rakul Preet Singh and Priya Prakash Varrier in lead roles, is gearing up for release on February 26. Chandrasekhar Yeleti, popular for his acclaimed thrillers Aithe and Anukokunda Oka Roju, has directed the movie.
In a latest interview while promoting the film, the director revealed that Check is a semi-biographical film inspired by real incidents. He went on to say that he penned Check’s script based on the story of an American prisoner who played chess during his jail term. Check’s trailer showcased Nithin as a convicted criminal who is also a maverick chess player. Fans will have to wait for a couple of weeks to know the real story.
Noted producer Anand Prasad has bankrolled Check under his Bhavya Creations banner.
