Akhanda, Balakrishna’s hat-trick film with director Boyapati Srinu, released on December 2nd and received a unanimous positive response from fans and critics. The film has grossed over Rs 100 crore in 10 days and turned out to be the highest grosser in Balayya’s career.
In 11 days, Akhanda collected a humongous distributor share of Rs 62.08 crore (Rs 106 crore gross) worldwide. Akhanda’s world theatrical rights were sold for Rs 53 crore, and buyers are already into profits. The film has pocketed Rs 8 crore more than its break even mark. The film is in no mood to slow down and will have a steady run until the next big release.
