Vikram starring the legendary Kamal Haasan, broke several Kollywood records. Many doubted the box office potential of Kamal, but the senior actor gave a befitting reply to one and all with the film. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie had Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi in other key roles.
In a recent interview, the film’s director Lokesh revealed an interesting detail about the film. There is a scene where Vijay Sethupathi kills Fahadh’s wife, played by S Gayathrie. In this particular scene, the decapitated body of Gayathrie is showcased.
The interviewer said Lokesh that the impact would have been multifold had there been a scene where Vijay Sethupathi walks carrying Gayathrie’s head in his hand. Lokesh instantly responded that the same was there in the script, but he excluded it intentionally, keeping the family audience in mind. Actress Gayathrie has shared the clip of the same on her Twitter.
