Tamil film Thadam starring Arjun Vijay, was a good success. Later it was remade in Telugu as Red with Ram Pothineni. Recently the Hindi remake starring Aditya Roy Kapoor was released in theatres. The Hindi remake titled Gumraah didn’t perform well in theatres and ended up as a commercial failure.
The latest update is that this Hindi remake is available for streaming on the OTT platform Netflix. The digital platform made the official announcement a while ago. Mrunal Thakur played the Police Inspector role in Gumraah.
Vardhan Ketkar directed this Hindi remake. Bhushan Kumar, Murad Ketani, Krishan Kumar, and Anjum Metani produced the movie under the banners of T-Series Films and Cine 1 Studios. Ronit Roy essayed another pivotal role. Those who missed watching this film can now catch it on Netflix.
