Thalapathy Vijay is bidding goodbye to movies as he wishes to be a full-time politician. His next release is The G.O.A.T, which is being directed by Mankatha fame Venkat Prabhu. The director’s last film was Custody, headlined by Naga Chaitanya. Custody didn’t get the desired result, and hence, the director is very determined to achieve a big hit with The G.O.A.T.
A few days ago, the makers launched the first single, Whistle Podu. Vijay himself crooned this song, which was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The song received a mixed response from the audience. The director has now confirmed that the second single will be released in June.
Venkat Prabhu interacted with netizens on Twitter this morning, and during this, Vijay fans came up with many requests. A fan asked Venkat Prabhu to release either a glimpse or a teaser, to which the director said that it would be too early to release anything now. The movie is set for a grand release on September 5 in multiple languages. Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing the female lead.
