Salman Khan will be next seen in the war action drama Battle of Galwan. Salman plays the role of Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu in this flick, which is inspired by the real events in which Indian and Chinese soldiers clashed in the Galwan Valley during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The biggie is scheduled for release on April 17, 2026. The shoot was wrapped up some time ago, but according to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers have now decided to shoot extra scenes, including action sequences, to enhance the film’s overall quality.
The report mentioned, “The patchwork was always intended to be done. The additional filming happened because the makers and Salman realized that those scenes were crucial to the narrative and that they would add to the impact. Salman doesn’t want to leave any stone unturned and wants to ensure that the Battle of Galwan turns out to be a great experience for the viewers.”
It is said that the movie will still arrive on time despite an unexpected move taken by the makers. The success of this film is very important for Salman as he is going through a rough patch. Chitrangda Singh plays the female lead.
