Drishyam is one of the finest franchises in Indian cinema. The crime thriller was a solid hit in all languages. Ajay Devgn remade Mohanlal’s franchise in Hindi, and even in the Hindi belt, Drishyam turned out to be successful.
Currently, the third part featuring Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, and others is in the making. The man of the moment, Akshaye Khanna had opted out of the project for various reasons, and his exit became a point of discussion. It was also speculated that veteran actor Prakash Raj had replaced him.
However, in the latest update, Prakash Raj himself confirmed that he has joined Hindi Drishyam 3. He stated that everyone will like his role and clarified that he is not replacing anyone. The biggie is slated to hit the big screens on October 2, 2026. Abhishek Pathak is directing the film.
