Following its strong run in India, Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, is set to release in Japan on July 10, 2026. The international rollout was confirmed with a localised trailer and a new poster, marking a strategic push into a key overseas market.
The Japan release is expected to add a fresh revenue stream to the film’s overall collections. With Japanese audiences showing growing interest in large scale Indian action films, Dhurandhar has the potential to extend its theatrical run beyond domestic success and strengthen its global box office total.
Backed by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film features an ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. Music by Shashwat Sachdev has also helped the film gain traction across digital platforms.
Positioned as a gritty spy thriller, Dhurandhar now looks to capitalise on its overseas expansion, with Japan emerging as a key market for boosting its final worldwide gross.
