Sumanth Prabhas’ romantic drama Godari Gattupaina, set against the Godavari backdrop, is set to hit theatres on May 8. The film is directed by newcomer Subash Chandra and produced by Abhinav under Red Puppet Productions. Nidhi Pradeep plays the female lead, while Jagapathi Babu appears in a key role.
The makers have planned paid premiere shows a day ahead of the full-fledged release. As many as seven shows have been scheduled in Hyderabad, and bookings are now open. Notably, Sumanth Prabhas’ previous film Mem Famous also had premiere shows.
The film will need positive word of mouth from these early screenings to create an impact at the box office. Rajeev Kanakala, Laila, Sudarshan, Devi Prasad, Raj Kumar Kasireddy, Viva Raghav, and Rohit Krishna Varma play supporting roles.
