Sreeleela has been waiting for a solid success, with several of her recent films failing to meet expectations at the box office. One such film is Junior, which marked the acting debut of Kireeti Reddy and was directed by Radha Krishna Reddy.
Nearly a year after its theatrical release in 2025, the film is set to reach a wider audience through its Hindi version. JioHotstar has officially announced that the Hindi dubbed version will premiere on the platform tomorrow. In addition, the film’s Hindi television premiere is also scheduled for tomorrow on Colors TV. Both the OTT and TV premieres will begin at 8 PM.
Junior failed to make a significant impact during its theatrical run and received a similar response after arriving on OTT. It now remains to be seen whether the Hindi version can find better acceptance among North Indian audiences.
One aspect that helped keep the film in the spotlight was the song Viral Vayyari, which emerged as a massive hit and garnered widespread attention. Apart from Kireeti Reddy and Sreeleela, the film also features Genelia Deshmukh, Ravichandran, Rao Ramesh, Harsha Chemudu and others in key roles.
Produced by Sai Korrapati under the Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram banner, Junior has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. With simultaneous OTT and television premieres lined up, the film now gets another opportunity to connect with a fresh set of viewers.
