Satya Dev is very confident about his upcoming film, Rao Bahadur. The psychological drama, directed by Venkatesh Maha, will hit the big screens on July 3. The movie is being promoted aggressively and has caught the attention of cinephiles.
In an interview, Satya Dev was asked if the film’s theme could resonate with a large section of the audience. “I never looked at Rao Bahadur as an experimental film. The core theme of the movie has mass appeal, and it can relate to everyone. If we break down Avatar, it revolves around the fight between people living in a forest and the one who wants to destroy the forest. This is the main theme, but the story is set on another planet,” said Satya Dev.
The actor highlighted that even the core themes of big hits like Avatar have universal appeal and reiterated that Rao Bahadur’s core theme would be simple to understand. He added that the way the story is told is what makes Rao Bahadur different.
