After a modest theatrical run, the Malayalam film Chinna Chinna Aasai has made its OTT debut on JioHotstar. The emotional drama is now streaming not only in its original Malayalam version but also in Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada, giving it a wider reach across India. (edited)
Directed by Varsha Vasudev, the film stars Indrans and Madhoo in the lead roles. Set against the backdrop of Varanasi, the drama earned praise for its heartfelt story, soulful performances, and emotional depth. However, despite receiving positive reviews, it couldn’t translate that appreciation into box-office success.
With its release in five languages, Chinna Chinna Aasai now has the opportunity to reach a wider audience on OTT.
The film also features Aparna Balamurali, Jaffer Sadiq, Vishnu Agasthya, Thambi Ramaiah, and Kaali Venkat in key supporting roles. It is produced under the Babuji Productions banner.
