Veteran producer MS Raju returns to the director’s chair with the horror thriller Agadha. The film, starring Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Ulka Gupta, and Shravan Reddy, is slated for release on August 14, 2026. The team is actively promoting the film. A grand pre-release event was held today in Hyderabad, which was graced by prominent celebrities.
At the event, popular producer Shyam Prasad Reddy said, “Honey (MS Raju) is a very dear friend of mine, and my journey with him goes back about 45 years. We share a lot of similarities, and we were raised in a cinema environment. He mastered the craft of storytelling and became a passionate producer. He attempted all sorts of films. Now he is coming up with a mystic film like Agadha.”
Shyam Prasad Reddy added, “I saw the trailer about three to four days back. The visuals were fantastic and compelling. Rajesh’s music was supportive, and Junaid’s editing was perfect. This film cannot be seen; it must be experienced. A movie like Agadha should be experienced only on the big screen. I am sure this is something more than horror. It won’t be just another horror film with some sort of jump scares.”
“There will be human emotions and edge-of-the-seat moments. The lead cast looks superb. Kamakshi’s screen presence is phenomenal. She is someone who can carry a film. I wish good luck to the entire team,” concluded Shyam Prasad Reddy.
