A few days ago, Raaka was widely discussed online, with reports claiming that the film could release on December 31, 2027. However, nothing had been confirmed. Now, a key actor from the South Indian film industry has confirmed his role in the film.
It is none other than Babloo Prithiveeraj, who played a significant role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. In a recent Telugu interview, the actor shared his experience on the sets of Raaka and spoke about his role. Babloo confirmed his casting, stating that he has bagged a prominent role with a distinct look in the project.
He also spoke about collaborating with director Atlee and shared details about the film’s international scale and Hollywood crew. For Babloo, being part of such a massive canvas alongside Allu Arjun is a dream come true. However, he could not reveal more details as he has an agreement with the makers not to disclose anything about the film or his role.
While Prithiveeraj has confirmed his involvement, Sun Pictures and Atlee are yet to issue a formal announcement about the supporting cast. The film stars Deepika Padukone in the female lead, while reports suggest that Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur and others are also part of the project. Sai Abhyankkar is composing the music for the film.
