National award winning Tamil star Dhanush shot to fame worldwide with the massive success of Kolaveri Di song. There is also a decent section of fans access the twin Telugu states which awaits the release of all Dhanush movies in Telugu.
On December 21, Dhanush’s latest film, Maari 2, is hitting screens worldwide in Tamil and Telugu. While expectations are quite high on the Tamil version, whether Dhanush will manage to impress Telugu audiences this time around remains to be seen. Maari 2 faces a huge competition from PPLM, Antariksham and KGF this weekend.
Maari 2 has Sai Pallavi as the female lead. Balaji Mohan has directed the movie and Dhanush himself has produced it. Satish Kumar Pendyala is releasing the Telugu version.
