Star heroine Kajal Aggarwal will soon be seen in a powerful role in Teja’s upcoming directorial, Sita. In the film, Kajal essays the character named Sita, a selfish, boss-like lady. Her role will also have a negative touch to it and Kajal is said to be the surprise package of the movie.
In a latest promotional interview, Teja revealed how Kajal was determined to play Sita in his film. Teja said that he had narrated Sita’s script to Kajal during Nene Raju Nene Mantri’s time and that Kajal immensely liked the story and the protagonist’s character and even urged Teja to cast her in the film. Even after several months, Kajal kept asking Teja about the project’s development. Thanks to her persistence, Kajal landed the lead role eventually.
Sita also features young hero Bellamkonda Sai and Sonu Sood and Mannara Chopra. The film is produced by Anil Sunkara and Abhishek Agarwal. Sita is hitting theaters on May 24.
