Yesterday, the social media was abuzz with responses to the teaser of Varma, which is the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy. Though the Tamil folks hailed the teaser to be superb, the response from the Telugu audience was quite mixed.
Some said that the teaser was nowhere close to the original and director Bala has spoilt the original. But the response coming in for the young hero is pretty good in the Tamil circles.
This mixed response not only helped the young hero but brought close to 3.5 million hits for the teaser in just 24 hours which is great for a debutante.
These responses from the social media have made the film a talking point all over now. We need to see whether the film lives up to its expectations or not when the film releases.
