Vijay Deverakonda is slowly but surely building a reputation for making bold choices in his career. After films like Yevade Subramanyam and Pellichoopulu, the actor is all set to make a big splash, once again, with Arjun Reddy. The teaser of the film went viral earlier this year and Vijay’s characterisation as a hot-headed youngster became the talk of the town.
It’s not just his films alone that Vijay is making news for. His fashion sense is equally bold and playful. Recently, when Vijay Deverakonda walked the green carpet at IIFA Utsavam in Hyderabad, he made heads turn with his quirky outfit, which was designed by Mint Blush. Talking about his fashion sense, Vijay says, “I don’t take myself seriously and as a result, I don’t take fashion seriously either. My sense of style comes from that. I’m just reckless, lazy and playful I guess and I was just having fun when I attended IIFA. My biggest source of inspiration is the internet and the wide range of choices it offers in terms of fashion.”
He further adds, “I wear what I feel comfortable in, which could be anything. People might say it is bold because it’s probably not the norm. But then, we are part of the entertainment industry and we are here because we didn’t follow any norm or rules. So, I believe that we should just chill and have some fun.”
Meanwhile, the actor is currently busy shooting for Parasuram’s upcoming film in Geetha Arts production and another supernatural thriller, produced by Geetha Arts and UV Creations, in Rahul Sankrityan’s direction. Apart from these two films, he is also busy with few other films lined up this year. Going by his wide range of choices that Vijay will make a strong statement, whether it’s films or fashion.
