RGV reveals the truth behind casting in Lakshmi’s NTR

RGV took everyone by surprise when he revealed the first look of NTR in his forthcoming film Lakshmi’s NTR. The filmmaker is well known for picking actors who have uncanny resemblance to the characters based on real life, whether it was Veerappan in Killing Veerappan or Vangaveeti in the film based on the slain leader’s life.

Soon after he revealed a short teaser of NTR from his film, there were several rumours about who the actor was since the director hadn’t revealed his name. Earlier today, the director took to Twitter saying that the actor who was cast to play NTR is in fact a theatre actor from West Godavari. RGV also revealed that this theatre actor was made to undergo extensive training for several months to get the body language and mannerisms of NTR in the right manner.

The film’s teaser is going to be unveiled soon, and a formal announcement is expected to be made soon about when the film is going to release in theatres. Kalyani Malik has scored the music.

Contrary to some reports the person who is playing NTR In #LakshmisNTR is a telugu theatre actor from West Godavari who I put under training for months to catch NTR’s body language , demeanour , speech pattern etc https://t.co/TX6APEvZ1o
