In yet another major international honor, SS Rajamouli’s RRR has just won the Best Action film award at the Hollywood Critics Association awards being held at Beverly Wilshire in Los Angeles. In a stupendous feat, RRR has beaten Hollywood giants such as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, The Batman, The Woman King and Top Gun: Maverick to grab the top honors.

In his acceptance speech, Rajamouli thanked all the stunt choreographers and Indian and foreign stunt crews who had worked tirelessly to make RRR look what it is today. Rajamouli also revealed that both NTR and Ram Charan themselves had performed most of their stunts without using a body double in RRR. The maverick director went on to appeal to all the major film festivals to constitute a Best Stunts category to acknowledge the hardwork put in by the stunt coordinators to entertain movie lovers.

At the 6th HCA Film Awards 2023, RRR also won the Best International Film, beating other nominees such as All Quiet on the Western Front, Argentina, 1985, Close and Decision to Leave. The film also bagged the Best Stunts and Best Song (Naatu Naatu) awards.
