Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday directed the officials to make all efforts to complete the accommodation and other facilities and the buildings for devotees at Sabarimala in Kerala State within one year.
The Chief Minister also directed that the senior officials of endowments department and experts of temple architecture may be deputed to oversee the works there. The Officials of Chief Minister’s Secretariat informed that the Kerala Government is being contacted and they are ready to handover the land to Andhra Pradesh Government.
It may be recalled that recently the President of the Travancore Devaswom Board has called on the Endowments Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah and gave their consent to allot 5 acres of land for providing facilities to the devotees visiting Sabarimala from Andhra Pradesh. Every year about one lakh devotees from our State are visiting Sabarimala. (INN)
