CM greets people on Christmas

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday extended his warm greetings to the Christian brethren on the eve of Christmas.

In a message, the Chief Minister said that the Jesus Christ’s message of universal love and peace is relevant for all the ages and all generations. As a messenger of peace Jesus Christ propagated the human values of love, peace, compassion and nonviolence, he said.

The Chief Minister said that “Love thy neighbour” was Jesus’ message. “We all crave for peace and affection. The whole world erupts into joy and celebration on the eve of Christmas. It is time for us to resolve to rise above narrow considerations of jealousy and hatred so as to live in harmony,” he said.

Kiran Kumar Reddy hoped that Christmas would serves as a source of eternal inspiration taking India and the state of Andhra Pradesh in the direction of further progress. (INN)
