Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday stated that he was ready for open discussion with YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy over the assets at anytime.

Talking to media persons at Telugu Desam Legislature Party Office, Naidu demanded that Jagan Mohan Reddy disclose his sources of income since 2004 in the public discussion. He also asked Jagan to give details of people who invested in his companies and the basis on which they made such huge investments.

Stating that he and his family members have already disclosed their properties and came clean from allegations, Naidu asked Jagan to emulate him. However, he alleged that Jagan and his family members accumulated wealth through corrupt methods during the stint of former chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. “I am ready for a public debate at anytime and anyplace with Jagan Mohan Reddy over the properties,” he said.

Ridiculing Jagan Mohan Reddy’s statement that he would put an end to corruption after assuming charge as the Chief Minister of State, Naidu said that if Jagan becomes the Chief Minister, he would loot the State indiscriminately and mortgage the State’s interests.

The TDP chief also condemned Jagan’s remarks TDP and Congress have colluded to target YSR Congress party. Since its inception, Naidu said, the TDP worked for people’s welfare and never supported the Congress anytime. He said that the Congress and YSR Congress Party have conspired to beat TDP politically. However, the TDP would continue its fight on public issues with people’s support, he said. (INN)
