TRS, YSR Cong MLAs sold out to Cong, alleges TDP

Telugu Desam Party Deputy Floor Leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu on Saturday called upon the YSR Congress Party and Telangana Rashtra Samiti members to support the No Confidence Motion against the Kiran Kumar Reddy Government.

Talking to media persons at Assembly’s Media Point, Gali said that the YSR Congress and TRS members, who dared the TDP to introduce the no trust motion, have to prove their sincerity by supporting it in the House. When the Speaker Nadendla Manohar sought votes for debating motion, he said that the TRS members have been walked out of House and YSR Congress party MLAs did not support it. “This indicates that they have been sold out to Congress party and decided to save the government,” he alleged.

When the reporters asked as to why he was making allegations against TRS MLAs when they clearly stated that they would vote against the government, another TDP MLA K S Ratnam shotback while accusing the media personnel of showing love towards TRS and YSR Congress. These remarks led to a heated argument between the scribes and K S Ratnam. In protest, the reporters demanded an apology from him. However, without saying anything Ratnam left the venue. (INN)
