Maska has all the elements that are required to keep the audience engaged and entertained and this is what will make Maska a sure-fire hit amongst all classes of audiences. It is a love triangle running along a background of political rivalry which all culminates a neat ending. Along the way, you are entertained by the twists in the story as well the comic one-liners between Ram and Sunil

What is it about : Krish (Ram) is a street-smart college drop-out who is waiting for the right break to get rich in life without wanting to work hard for it. He and his best friend Sunil decide that the easiest way to get rich is to marry a girl who will migrate to the US and earn for him. With this idea, Krish goes overboard to woo Manju (Sheela) with a story of a failed love story with a fictitious Meenakshi. The problem starts when a real Meenakshi (Hansika) crops up in his life and his fictitious love story starts coming true. While Krish is busy struggling between both these girls, you have two rival politicians (Mukesh Rishi and Pradeep Rawat) trying to find Meenakshi since she is the pawn to getting a minister berth. Both these stories come together in the second half with enough twists and turns before everything ends on a good note between all them

What is Good: The good part of the movie is that it has all the masala required to make a fulltime entertainer. All the required elements are mixed in the right proportion. The love triangle was slightly different with the story and screenplay move along a brisk pace and the songs come in at the right places. The biggest draw of the movie is Ram who despite lacking a conventional “hero” physique does a great job with his acting and his comic timing. He is well supported by Sunil who makes you smile every time he appears on screen which is very often. Amongst the heroines, Sheela puts in a good performance as the aggressive lover while Hansika carries off her cute girl act easily. Thankfully, the action sequences were well shot without showing too much of violence.

What is bad: Nothing much I can think off since the movie meets your expectations of what a commercial entertainer should be and it does exactly that.

Me Thinks: Maska is a good one time watch which would fall in the league of comic entertainers like Ready (which also had Ram in it)
