Bhetaludu's story is quite unique. The way the story unravels Vijay Antony's past is pretty good. Throughout the movie, Vijay Antony showcases deep emotions in the role of a man who is mentally disturbed. The first half of the film is gripping and suspense filled. Heroine Arundhati Nair is riveting in a strong role. Vijay Antony's Background score elevates the film to another level.
After a gripping first fifteen minutes in the second half, the film goes wayward while revealing the reason behind all the weird things happening in the narrative. That's where the film loses its steam and becomes slow. Those who think Bhethaludu will have horror elements will be disappointed. The climax of the film is a bit jaded and dragged, diluting the overall viewing experience.
