“No foreign actors in Baahubali,” Rajamouli clarifies

There’s no dearth of rumours surrounding S S Rajamouli’s upcoming film Baahubali starring Prabhas, Anushka and Rana. The latest rumours which is doing rounds on the internet is that a Hollywood actor has been cast in the film as one of the villains and a section of media even went to the extent of reporting that it is Nathan Jones, who played a brief role in Troy. However, Rajamouli has categorically denied these rumours and said, “No Hollywood actors are signed for #Baahubali. False news again.”

The film’s shooting began recently in Kurnool and right on the first day thousands of people thronged to the sets to catch a glimpse of the film’s shooting. Talking about the incident, Rajamouli tweeted saying, “Thanks to the people of kurnool, even though they turned up in numbers that we didn’t imagine, they let us shoot without much difficulty.But the rains were not as helpful…:) Preparing for the bigger and heavier schedules ahead.” The first schedule has been wrapped up and the second schedule is expected to begin soon. Meanwhile, Rajamouli is heading to US for few days and the film’s shooting will resume after he returns to Hyderabad. M M Keeravani is scoring the music and Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devenini are producing the film under Arka Media Works banner.
