Actor Nani, who turned producer with Awe!, is so proud of backing the film that he is going all the way to promote it in a big way. Speaking at the trailer launch, he said, “When Prashanth narrated me the story, I promised him that I’ll introduce him to few producers. Few days later, when I was shooting for Ninnu Kori’s promotional song, I spotted Prashanth again. On the spur of the moment, I told him that I’ll produce the film. That’s how I got involved with the project.”

Although he didn’t quite reveal what the plot of the film is, Nani thanked all the actors for coming onboard and in the end, he stated that he’s quite happy with the way the film has shaped up. “Recently, someone suggested that if I think the film has plenty of commercial elements then I should retain the theatrical rights, but I’m not too confident then I should sell it off. When I think about the film, I know that it’s a risky film and doesn’t have any commercial elements. That’s the reason why I’ve decided to release it on my own,” Nani said, much to everyone’s surprise.

Directed by Prashanth Varma, the film is slated for release on February 16. Nani and Prashanthi have produced the film.
