As expected, Jawan took a monstrous start at the worldwide box office. King Khan Shah Rukh was presented in a solid manner by Tamil director Atlee. The movie received positive reviews from critics. The word of mouth has also been favorable.
Jawan has scripted history by becoming the all-time biggest opener for a Hindi film in India. Jawan collected a mammoth 65 crores nett from its Hindi version on the opening day. SRK broke his own record of Pathaan, which collected 55 crores nett in India from its Hindi version.
Bollywood Badshah achieved a tremendous feat by delivering two back-to-back highest openings in Hindi cinema. The collections of Telugu and Tamil versions are yet to come out. Also, the overseas numbers for the first day are yet to be reported. Anirudh composed the tunes for Jawan, which has Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in important roles.
