Young Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej’s sports based action entertainer, Winner, is all set for a grand release on February 24th. In the film, Sai will be seen as a Jockey and he had received horse training in Hyderabad.
For the shooting of Sai’s horse riding scenes in Turkey, the unit had roped in Hollywood stunt choreographer Kaloian, who has worked on films like Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, Troy and World War Z.
In his latest promotional interview, Sai revealed his emotional bond with the horse, Tora, that he rode during the film’s shooting. Sai said he once fell off Tora and she saved him from being run over by other horses. “Animals too have emotions”, Sai reminisced.
Sai went on to reveal that he got teary eyed when he had to bid adieu to Tora after wrapping up the Turkey schedule. Winner stars Rakul Preet Singh as Sai’s love interest. The film is directed by Gopichand Malineni and jointly produced by Nallamalupu Bujji and Tagore Madhu.
