Mollywood superstar Mohanlal has kept his fans on their toes this year with multiple releases, and he recently wrapped up Drishyam 3. But there’s no downtime for him, he’s already moved on to the next big one.
He flew to Chennai the other day to join the sets of Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Mohanlal returns as Mathew, and this time the role is said to have a lot more weight.
He’s expected to be on set today, and fans are waiting to catch even a small glimpse of the two legends together. Jailer 2, produced by Sun Pictures with Anirudh handling the music, also features Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa Menon, Vinayakan, and others. The film is slated to hit theatres in June 2026.
