Hero Nithiin is currently shooting for his upcoming romantic comedies, Bheeshma and Rang De. He also has a film under Chandrasekhar Yeleti’s direction. And if the latest buzz is anything to go by, Nithiin is showing a keen interest in starring in the Telugu remake of the National Award-winning Bollywood dark comedy, Andhadhun.
Andhadhun’s Telugu remake rights have been acquired by noted producer Tagore Madhu. Apparently, Nithiin’s father Sudhakar Reddy will be co-producing the movie, with his son essaying the main lead. However, an official announcement is awaited to confirm this speculation.
Directed by acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Sriram Raghavan, Andhadhun had Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte in lead roles. While Ayushmann won the National Award for Best Actor, the film went on to win the Best Regional Film (Hindi) award. Stay tuned for further updates on the Telugu remake.
