Siddharth’s recent film Chithha (Chinna in Telugu) found love from the audiences and critics. The film brought the much-required success in the actor’s career. In an award function, Siddharth indirectly took a dig at Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, and his comments are now going viral.
Siddharth said, “No women told director Arun or me that they couldn’t watch Chithaa or that it was disturbing. But many men told us they couldn’t watch Chithha as it would be disturbing. The same men will watch Mirugam (Animal), but Chithha is more disturbing for them.”
Siddharth continued, “It’s not disturbance. It is shame and guilt. I am sure such attitude will change soon.” Siddharth’s comments are drawing mixed reactions from netizens. Those who liked Animal are bashing the actor, while those who didn’t like the Ranbir Kapoor starrer are supporting Siddharth.
