Nagabharanam :
Veteran director Kodi Ramakrishna's Kannada epic-fantasy, Nagarahavu, featuring the digitally generated late Kannada Sahasa Simha Vishnuvardhan and Ramya, released last week in Telugu as Nagabharanam. High on VFX work, the film opened well in most centres, thanks to Kodi Ramakrishna's previous track record in this genre.
No 2nd position at the box office. .
Late Kannada star Vishnuvardhan has been brought to life through high-end graphic work by Makuta vfx. Leading heroine turned politician Ramya impresses in a powerful central role. So does Saikumar, who is quite effective in a cameo.
Nagabharanam's story is quite simple and the execution is unimpressive. The first half is lifeless and not even one scene manages to impress. Loud background score, unnecessarily graphics mar the proceedings. Lackluster screenplay is yet another drawback in this film.
