Kathakali :
Telugu hero Vishal is a name to reckon with in Tamil film industry. The actor regularly churns out a series of commercial potboilers with interesting plotlines. His latest suspense thriller, Kathakali, released on the 18th of March and the film is off to an average start in A, B & C centres.
No 1st position at the box office. .
The major plus point of the film is the suspense element which was maintained right till the very end. Screenplay is quite impressive and the way the revenge drama was showcased with two different angles is very interesting.
The film's story is quite simple. Even though the suspense element is good, lack of major twists will leave you asking for more. Love track between the lead pair looks jaded and it was not handled well. Songs in the first half act as speed breakers. Climax fight was totally unwanted and logic in certain twists goes for a toss.
